Rabbi Allyson Zacharoff

Rabbi Allyson Zacharoff recently graduated from the Reconstructionist Rabbinical College. She has studied and worked in interfaith dialogue for a decade both here and abroad and it was this work that inspired her path to the rabbinate. Rabbi Zacharoff previously studied as a Russell Berrie Fellow in Interreligious Studies at the Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas in Rome, for which she received a Certificate of Interreligious Studies; a Conflict Resolution Fellow at the Pardes Institute of Jewish Studies in Jerusalem; and an International Peacemaking Program Fellow at Hartford International University for Religion and Peace in Connecticut, for which she received a Graduate Certificate in Islamic Studies and Christian-Muslim Relations. She undertakes a variety of interfaith grant projects, serves as a Jewish representative on several national interfaith dialogues, regularly attends international multifaith convenings, and writes about her interfaith life on her blog, Of Christmas and Kreplach.
